Swedish Volca-Powered Punk

Bridging Lo-Fi electronic music and punk rock, JFK composed Doughnut Valley using a minimalist setup, emphasizing simple structures. The tracks are short, catchy, and, most importantly, performed live. Using four Korg Volcas, JFK recorded every track on this album in one-take live sessions.

The album title, Doughnut Valley, is a direct translation of JFK’s hometown, Munkedal (Munk = Doughnut, Dal = Valley), and marks his debut release on Move Quiet Records. It’s a frenetic and vigorous instrumental journey, fueled by the energy of live performance.

JFK plans to play live, piggybacking off his career as a full time professional light artist that allows him to travel around the world. You can see his work Luxtriplicata at Night Light Festival in Calgary this September and in October in Oakland at the Autumn Lights Festival.
