Move Quiet goes back to 2005 when founder Justin Vitale was paging through an old book searching for song titles. The name had seeded itself early in Justin's music career, an ever present idea floating around for nearly two decades before coming to life on July 22nd, 2022. It is a point of connection to the beginning days of his musical journey,  bringing with it the innocence, care, and obsession with discovering sound. 

Move Quiet Records aims to cultivate time and give grain to memory, registering moments that pause and search for meaning. In chaos, music brings calm. In calm, music brings ectasy. In ecstacy, music brings the unknown. It is one of the few connection points all humans share and can embrace en masse, an invisible mystical source of deep inspiration. Defined by time, but able to pause it, expand, and make us question our true realities.
